Baacha Khan Schools Principal’s Meeting held at BKTEF Directorate
“It is a matter of immense pleasure that the BKTEF has successfully developed an alternative critical model of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The critical model of education makes learning a joyful activity and cater for the critical and creative faculties of students. We can see the impact of critical model of education in various dimensions in the lives ofBaccha Khan Schools’ students. For instance, they achieve foreign scholarships, win art competitions on country level, get nominations for debate competitions on international level, almost 95 percent students get A grade in their matriculation examinations throughout the province. Moreover, they are proficient users of Pashto, Hindko, Kowar, Urdu and English and well versed in indigenous Pashtun history. The students of Baacha Khan Schools have got enough skills in crafts that they are able to support their families in financial terms.But this does not mean that we have reached our destination. We have entered into another important phase of the vision of the BKTEF, that is, to spread this model to each and every school of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Dr. Khadim Hussain in monthly meeting of the principals of Baacha Khan School held at the BKTEF Directorate on October 18, 2016.
The meeting was attended by all principals of Baacha Khan Schools, senior teachers of Baacha Khan Schools, School Management Department, HR Department, Admin Department, Field Department and Finance Department and Research Officer.
The issues discussed in the meeting included updates regarding culture exhibitions, information about reading skill development project and update from schools (supporting letter), sending of CVs according to the need of schools i.e. of desired qualification and subject, Basic Teachers’ training in the next month, submission of papers for the second term exam, submission of Mashaal data, collection of donations from skins of sacrificed animals, classroom charts, plantation at school, CEC and internal administration, Mugs and craft products.
Meeting was ended with a vote of thanks from the MD BKTEF Khadim Hussain.
