42th Monthly Study Circle
BKTEF holds 42th Monthly Study Circle for Bacha Khan Fellows
42th Monthly Bacha Khan Fellows study circle was organised under the auspices of Bacha khan Education Trust Educational Foundation (BKTEF) on 8th Feb 2030 at Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar. The book, "Non-voilence: Narrative and Strategy", written by Khadim Hussain has been selected for discussion. A large number of students and political workers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan participated in the study circle.
Synopsis of the book was presented by Rauf Yousafzai while theme and contents of the book were discussed by Shahnawaz Mashaal. The participants debated content of the book in an open discussion session. The narrative of non-violence, strategies for non-violence and their relevance in the present era was discussed in great detail. The need to resist subjugation and broaden network of democratic discourse was specially emphasised. At the end, Khadim Hussain gave his concluding remarks and answered queries from the audience
The next study circle was decided to be held on 14th of March 2020 on the first two volumes of the book ‘Bacha Khan Aw Khudai Khidmatgaari’ at Bacha Khan Markaz.
