BKTEF arranges Fellowship Seminar at Peshawar

“Our nation is passing through most difficult times of its history. Global and regional interests have pushed us into the dungeon of conflict and war like situation. Every passing day brings misery, death and destruction to our homes irrespective of creed, cast and social status. But this does not mean that our nation would suffer forever. I see a glimmering hope in front of me, the hope in the shape of the youth of our nation. It is a matter of great success and pleasure that the youth is trying to immerse themselves in the idea of national consciousness. They attempt, and to a certain extent they are successful, to carry forward the discourse of alternative history, alternative critical education, preserving and advancing its language, culture and civilization. The youth is now eager to understand just distribution of national resources,” said Dr. Khadim Hussain in youth fellowship seminar held at the BKTEF Directorate on August 6, 2016.

The seminar was attended by dozens of fellows of the BKTEF from various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They presented in detail current issues in their communities and discussed interventions they have made. The BKTEF Fellows demonstrated through their presentations that they were effectively participating in the process of social transformation.

They also discussed future action plan to bring consistency in their efforts. In the action plan, they focused on networking, expansion and consistency in activities of social transformation.

Dr. Khadim Hussain, MD BKTEF guided them to share their activities and strategies, and include more and more fellows in their circle.

Fellowship seminar was ended with encouraging remarks and vote of thanks from MD BKTEF.
