BKTEF Organizes Political Leadership Training for the Youth of Mardan
�When we look at the life and struggle of Baacha Khan and his comrades it becomes evident that Khudai Khidmatgaar movement had a clear vision, the vision of social, political and economic empowerment of the Pashtun. Baacha Khan was cognizant of the ills of the Pashtun society that is why he forwarded a reform agenda to pave way for the empowerment of Pashtun. He diverted the energy of his people from self-centeredness to collective wellbeing. He was greatly successful in this regard because he inculcated, faith in human dignity, pluralism and non-violence. The aim of Political Leadership Training program of the BKTEF is to raise political consciousness in the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and promote the values of human dignity, pluralism and non-violence to bring lasting peace to the society which would translate into political stability, social development and economic prosperity,� said Dr. Khadim Hussain in his concluding remarks of the Political Leadership Training arranged by the BKTEF on October 12, 2015 at Baacha Khan Research Centre Peshawar.
The training modules were communication skills, Leadership skills, Social Evolution, Political Concepts, Fundamental Rights in the constitution of Pakistan, social welfare, and the non-violent and democratic paradigm of Khudai Khidmatgaar movement.
Resource persons of the training included Dr. Khadim Hussain, Imran Khan, Gulalai Ismael, Sangeen Khan Advocate, Senator Sitara Ayaz and Zalan Mohmand.
The training was ended with a vote of thanks from MD BKTEF, Dr. Khadim Hussain and with a strong resolve from the participants to promote the values of human dignity, pluralism, non-violence and democracy.
