“Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation (BKTEF) believes in the philosophy of Non-violence pioneered in the region by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan aka Baacha Khan. The BKTEF strives to inculcate principles of nonviolence among the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to transform social, political and educational institutions through peaceful means. Youth of a nation is its most valuable capital. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is rich in both natural and human resources. The government needs to chalk out youth friendly policies and create opportunities for utilization of these resources. Such policies will bring economic prosperity and peace to the society,” said Dr. Khadim Hussain in concluding ceremony of five days training arranged on November 9, 2015, at Baacha Khan Markaz Peshawar.On day one, Dr. Khadim Hussain, MD BKTEF, inaugurated the training and briefed the participants about aims and objectives of the BKTEF. Mr. Imran Khan (Curriculum Officer) conducted session on Communication Skills and Critical Thinking. On the second day, Mr. Zalan Mohmand presented detailed history of Khudai Khidmatgaar Movement and its impact on Pashtun Society. Mr. Mushtaq Majroh Yousafzay discussed impact of Khudai Khidmatgaar Movement on Pashto Literature in detail. On the third day, Dr. Khadim Hussain discussed in great detail comparative political philosophy of Eastern and Western civilizations. On the fourth day, Ms.Samira Shams conducted sessions on Human Rights, Women Rights and Development.  Renowned poet and writer, Rehmat Shah Sail, discussed various aspects of culture and cultural diversity.  He also threw light on  the way ahead and the need of collective struggle for peace and prosperity of the region. At the end of his talk, Rehmat Shah Sail recited one his ghazals.                                                                                                          On the fifth day, Dr. Khadim Hussain discussed outcomes of the training. He also discussed social and political activism.  In this regard, participants of the training agreed to run a social campaign with the name of Khudai Khidmatgaaree throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dr. Khadim Hussain (MD BKTEF), Mr. Faheemullah (ASSO Academics), Ms. Aimen Riaz (ASSO Students Counseling) also conducted Teachers  Training sessions on Critical Model of Education, Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, Child Psychology and Activity Based Learning respectively. The training was ended with a vote of thanks from Dr. Khadim Hussain MD BKTEF.
