MD asks Principals to adopt KK model of Virtues & Values in school system

  • The virtues and value system of Khudai Khidmatgaar Movement must be reflected in the behavioral system of Baacha Khan Schools’ students and faculty”. MD BKTEF 


To assess academics, administration and community support of each Baacha Khan school, the Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation (BKTEF) holds principals’ meetings of all Baacha Khan Schools on monthly basis regularly. Meeting for the month of October was held on 29th October 2014 at BKTEF Directorate. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Khadim Hussain, Managing Director of BKTEF. Following participated in the meeting.

  1. Department of School Management
  2. Department of Finance
  3. Field Department
  4. Members of MD Office
  5. Principals of all 14 Baacha Khan Schools

Principal of each Baacha Khan School gave detailed briefing mentioning the overall activities and performance of their respective schools one by one. During their briefings, the principals pointed out problems they faced. The problems and difficulties were then collectively discussed and alternative solutions were found out. The principals also shared their preparations for the second term exam. During discussions, the principals reported that community was supporting the schools in terms of donations in cash and kind. The communities, according to them, were also supportive in moral and social terms. The principals also shared their reports regarding celebration of Malala Nobel Peace Prize at Baacha Khan Schools. They informed that overall response of the community to the celebration of Malala Nobel Peace Prize was positive.

Mr. Imran Khan, Curriculum Officer delivered a detailed briefing on how to improve teaching of the the basic skills, i.e., reading, listening, writing and basic arithmetics. He described numerous ways to improve these basic skills.

The MD BKTEF, Dr. Khadim Hussain, emphasized that the staff and the students must know in depth the philosophy and movement of Baacha Khan and  must be reflected in their personal and collective behaviors. He added that computer labs, libraries and science labs must be functional and weekly report of the use of computer labs, libraries and science labs should be sent to the Directorate regularly. He also added that the aim of using labs and libraries was to develop scientific methodology and critical thinking.
