Malala Nobel Peace Prize was celebrated in all Baacha Khan Schools with great zeal and enthusiasm on October 14 and 15, 2014 across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

All schools arranged special assembly to pay special tribute to the brave daughter of the soil, Malala Yousaf Zai. The celebration events started with recitation of the Holy Quran. Principals of Baacha Khan Schools delivered speeches on the occasion to highlight efforts and sacrifices of Malala Yousafzai for peace, education and human rights. Students of the Baacha Khan Schools narrated motivational stories and delivered speeches on various aspects of peace and education. They quoted various sayings of Malala Yousaf Zai and it was emphasized that her goal was not to get Nobel Prize but her  goal was to see every child getting education.

Students presented skits based on the sayings of Baacha Khan about peace and education to demonstrate that Malala Youzaf Zai is a symbol of the continuation of indigenous discourse of peace, pluralism, gender equity and democratic values. Skits on the importance of female education were also performed to encourage female education. The event was concluded by the BKS principals with this message of Dr. Khadim Hussain MD BKTEF, “Winning of Nobel Prize for Peace by Malala Yousaf Zai is not an ordinary event in the history of our nation. It  substantiates the fact that our nation loves peace, education and believe in gender equity and democratic values.”
