14 students of Baacha Khan School participated in two days Children Literature Festival organized by Idara-e-Taleem-o-Agahi and Oxford University Press organized at Lahore on 25-26 November 2011.
Children Literature Festival was the first ever literature festival for Children of Pakistan at National level. Local and International celebrities, authors, publishers and well known personalities of Pakistan also attended the festival.
More than 20,000 people attended this two days festival, students from different government, private and NGO schools including Beaconhouse, Army Public schools, City School, Sanjan Nagar School of (ITA) Baacha Schools and a number of other schools from all over Pakistan attended the festival and participated in different activities and also attended a number of workshops.
The festival started on 25th November, 2011 at 10:00am. Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the festival. Soon after the address of CM Punjab, the festival formally started. More than 50 activities including competitions and training sessions were organized. Parallel activities were going on in halls, auditorium, rooms and garden.
Two students of Baacha Khan Schools served as Ushers whereas 12 other students of Baacha Khan Schools participated outstandingly in almost all segments and competitions and won different prizes and certificates as follows:

In the concluding ceremony, Senior Advisor to Governor Punjab, Mr. Zulfiqar Khosa was the chief guest who distributed prizes and certificates among the winners. The program ended at 07:00 pm on November 26 2011 and tea was served afterwards.
The students of Baacha Khan Schools were accompanied and facilitated by Ms. Sana Ejaz Training Officer BKTEF and Ms. Tehmina Principal BKS Charssadda.
