Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation signs MoU with Right To Play

Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation and Right To Play has signed an MoU for sport and play programs in Baacha Khan Schools. To take this cooperation between the two organizations to the next level, Right To Play and Baacha Khan Trust senior staff met on Friday, 4th February, 2011 and discussed further cooperation. Both the partners agreed on the following:

a.     Right To Play will provide technical support to BKTEF for schools, youth groups and other activities

b.    Right To Play will train 10 master trainers form BKTEF schools in play-based learning program to enhance life skills among teachers. The training will be followed by refresher courses for mentoring of these master trainers and assessment in its experiential education methodology.

c.     Right To Play will also train  a limited number, not exceeding,10,  volunteers as local coaches

d.    Right To Play will continue with the  on-going partnership with one of the  BKTEF’s schools in Mardan

e.     Two more schools will be included in the partnership with Right To Play in Peshawar.

f.     The youth trained by the BKTEF will be engaged through Right To Play resource named Youth As Leader in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e. Peshawar, Mardan and Mansehra. Small youth groups will be provided technical and programmatic support to take up leadership roles in their communities.

g.      In general, Right To Play and BKTEF will cooperate with each other in other areas relevant.
