BKTEF Professional Development Academy (PDA) organizes pre-service training for teachers of Baacha Khan Schools in Peshawar. The training workshop (June 22-26, 2009) consists of total 25 contact hours. Theories of learning, lesson planning and classroom management are the thematic areas of the training workshop. A total of sixty teachers of Baacha Khan Schools System will take part in two rounds in the workshop. The pre-service program of the Academy (PDA) is a prerequisite for newly inducted and exisiting teaching staff of Baacha Khan Schools who need further help with teaching methodologies.
